About Our Company

We are a group of marketing and technology professionals. We have honed our expertise with over 40 years of experience in data, analytics, marketing, and advertising technology. We are a group of “idea architects.” We understand data at the highest levels of the “science” of data today. That means understanding the latest application of data for analytics, sales, marketing, artificial intelligence, social media, and all of the processes involved in managing the world's largest and most comprehensive databases. We are specialists in Data Hygiene. We know that dirty data is useless data. We know that most data used today is not capable of answering the business questions that are requested of it. Therefore, processes must be implemented to make that data viable for use. Many of today’s AdTech and MarTech companies are only concerned about selling the most data (Cost Per Thousand Records or CPM) or Click Through Rates (CTR). Our customers don’t do marketing for the sake of marketing but to drive results. We cleanse, manage, measure, and report on the data we process to optimize our client’s Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI). We have done so for hundreds of companies. People

Steve Horne began his career at Dun & Bradstreet before advancing to lead the Marketing Technology Practice at The Interpublic Group of Companies and then working in Private Equity at Trident Capital including one of their portfolio companies, Generate. His analytical skills led him to uncover financial irregularities at institutions like Bear Stearns, culminating in a pivotal meeting with SEC officials during the 2008 financial crisis. Generate was acquired by Dow Jones.

  • Involvement in solving the financial crisis: Horne's analysis of Bear Stearns' financials led to a critical meeting with SEC officials, which subsequently positioned him as an advisor to Congress during the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act and TARP. 

After career at Dow Jones, Steve Joined IBM. Steve became the Senior Partner and Global Leader of AdTech, MarTech and Cognitive Analytics. Steve designed and built some of the most comprehensive data management and marketing technology systems in the world including for Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, P&G., Unilever, Nestle, American Airlines, Philip Morris International and Target. He retired from IBM in 2018 and continued consulting to his clients through Covid. His private consulting clients were mostly international. Covid made that nearly impossible, so Steve worked on advisory positions and start-ups, including a Privacy Data start up known as ConsenTech.

His consulting work continues across multiple vertical markets including Retail, Technology, Automotive, Consumer Products, Non-Profit, Travel and Transportation.

Steve runs Horne & Associates LLC. He is the sole owner and manages partnerships to deliver consolidated solutions
